The Great Canadian Scavenger Hunt is a fun and exciting contest for those who like a challenge! Cool prizes don’t hurt either!

THERE ARE 50 GREAT CANADIAN GARAGE SALE LOGO CARDS HIDDEN THROUGHOUT THE SALE & THE MALL! THAT LOOK LIKE THIS:

25 OF THE CARDS ARE HIDDEN AT GREAT CANADIAN GARAGE SALE VENDORS BOOTHS, AND ANOTHER 25 ARE HIDDEN WITHIN NEW HORIZON MALL’S MANY STORES UP STAIRS. THE CARDS ARE NOT BURIED UNDER THINGS, THEY ARE VISIBLE!

How it works:

• TAKE PICTURES OF THE ONES YOU FIND, ZOOMED OUT ENOUGH TO SHOW WHERE IT WAS FOUND. (The pictures are very important, make sure we can see other items in the background for verification or they wont count)
• DO NOT TOUCH, MOVE, TAKE OR PUT THINGS ON TOP OF THE CARDS TO HIDE THEM! IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND POSSIBLY ASKED TO LEAVE! PLAY FAIR AND HAVE FUN!
• WRITE DOWN HOW MANY YOU FOUND. THE TOP 2 WINNERS WILL WIN THE PRIZES DISPLAYED ON THE EVENT TABLE.
• THE WINNERS WILL ALLOW THE STAFF TO VERIFY YOUR CLAIM BY CHECKING THE PICTURES ON YOUR CAMERA OR PHONE.
• THE CONTEST STARTS AT 12:00 NOON. ALL SHEETS MUST BE RETURNED BY 2:00PM, NO LATER.
• WHOEVER FINDS THE MOST CARDS IN THE SHORTEST AMOUNT OF TIME WINS

The announcer will randomly be asking everyone throughout each day to be the first to find random items that are at the Sale. The Announcer will tell you what item to find and mention what prize will be won if you are the First to Find It! The first person to find the item wins!  Estimated First to Find It prizes per day is 20. Play all day with a Super-Pass! (you don’t have to purchase the First to Find It items)
Remember Super-Pass holders and Vendors are also eligible for the main hourly door prizes such as Big Screen HD Smart TV’s, drones, and more awesome Prizes.
